I would also point out that more oil may well help cooling it an Air cooled engine that really means oil cooled
I run my mostly standard 90 with 800/1000cc oil in it and it stays cooler adding the high capacity ACT90 oil pump made much more difference but the extra oil defiantly helped it stay cool
