Hi I have just got a Honda C50 1967.

Got it from a shed!

Been stood up for 28 years & Looks OK.

Condition is fair/good and orginal & It has cleaned up lovely.

The engine runs and starts but wont tick over/idle off choke.

I have stripped the carb cleaned it but when at idle the mixture screw makes no difference to running speed.

I have cleaned the Carb including jets and tubes and tried using acid to clean them out and put pentrating fluid through them which shows its clear????

I used a watch makers eye glass to inspect all the jets and it looks clean?

It is as if the fuel is not being drawn throught the idle/slow running side of the carb.

I've pulled it apart several times and wonder if I should replace it with a alternative, do you have any suggestions?

Hopefully someone can help.
