I've been to France loads of times on the Cub. There are no bad roads or routes. It's all fantastic scenery and quiet roads. Just buy a half decent map of Europe and if you find yourself on a road you don't fancy consult the map and take a detour. I've also travelled through Germany and have used the Autobahns on the cub with no mither. There are campsites everywhere in France, less so in the other European countries. The only other advice would be to prep the bike properley before you set off. Take the obvious spares and most definitely take a spare 5ltr can full of fuel. It's surprising how few fuel stations there are in rural France. Lastly, have a great time.
