Hi all
I've had an idea for a ride out
Does anyone fancy a ride to the lakes to 'do Hardknott and Wrynose passes ' ?
The plan would be to meet at Squires Cafe at Sherburn in Elmet,North Yorkshire...technically now in Newthorpe...
They open at 8 so we could plan to leave at 9 to fit it all in the day
It will be a fair mileage,about 225,but if we leave at 9,we can do it...if people want to,we can meet others on the way up to t'lakes,rather than folks coming south to go north again
I plan to do this on a Sunday.....I imagine it's when most folks are off work
The dates I have in mind are either the 22nd May or 18th June....good dates as it's getting towards the longest day,especially the June date
Any takers for this...I don't want to go on my own
