Hi, Rob i've done mine and they do make a big difference in the ride ! B) ! No more skipping or bottoming out on the bumps or twisty stuff ! XD !
Got mine from a local supplier Startright of Leeds and great price at £39.50 for the shocks but you may be able to source near home to save on the post ?
He only has chrome in at the moment and i used the 340mm eye to eye IGM 16109667 although you have to re-use top old bushes & collars from old shocks .
If you want to jack it up a bit more 360mm eye to eye IGM 16109669 or just use shockers to search on the startright site . My old shocks were 345mm eye to eye and the new gear are great and only use on the second notch which suits me and my slim torso although i do have big bones ! XD ! & third when fully laden with camp gear and have worked well now for a couple of years . The only problem i had is the shock body is close to the chain case so just fitted a small washer on the chain case mount for a little more clearance , also to do the job all the plastics have to be removed plus rear indicators , grab rail and any racks or boxes ect.. which takes @ 2-3 hours then 1/2 to remove & fit the new shocks & then another 2-3 hours to put it all back together ! :/ ! but once done you will reap the rewards ! :D !
Cheers Vk. :) .
