Thanks to all for your suggestions. (I’ll seek advice about removing the mounting bolts Vic, I’ve tried the block of wood Harry & I’ll give the dealer a ring).

With the Innova as far as I can remember I could get away with just removing a side panel. But with the Address the servicing can be done without removing panels (with a little difficulty).
But on the 5000mile service I removed the panels so that I could see underneath, clean the HT leads coil etc. & check the fuel line. The problem is that they overlap & ALL the mid panels had to come off including the seat, I got a rattle & had a job getting rid so I became well practiced, now I can have the panels on & off in about 30min.

But this doesn’t resolve the problem, I think that I may just take all the panels off if my mate Geoff agrees then we may get to the bottom of the problem. It’s a nice little bike & it would be interesting to see what is underneath & give it a good check over.
