Innova rear tyre...options?

2009 Innova, original rear tyre now knackered after 16,000 kms, almost all that distance ridden two-up.

There's some tread left on the tyre, but the sidewalls are cracking with age/use/sun (yes, actual sun, as we live over here in Spiccy Spain), so it's time to change it.

The tyre that's on the bike is a Dunlop TT 900A, 80/90-17.

Is this the best tyre to go for again? Are there other options?

Advice please, all you goooooooooood people...........
