I've now greased my innova centre stand with waterproof grease as suggested by DD, many thanks. However, I'm not impressed with Honda's design. There can be no more exposed position with the pivot being constantly water/salt sprayed underneath the bike. What a pity Honda didn't see fit to seal both ends of the pivot tube with a grease nipple at the one end and a few holes to lubricate both stand and brake lever. If only I had the enginering skills, seems like an opportunity for someone though, I'd buy two...
I'm certain the Cub shares the same weakness?
