C90 No match for Wiggins,Cavendish and all

The Tour of Britain cycle race went through Cannock Chase,and my home town of Rugeley,today so I decided to follow it on my C90.I had worked out I could catch the race at 3 or 4 vantage points around my local area.But no chance.I waited on the Chase for an hour to see them go past.I then raced to my bike and rode to the next vantage point only to see the tailend,support cars,disappear into the distance.This happened twice at which point a gave up and went home.I couldn't even tell you which one was Wiggins or Cavendish.Good fun though. To be honest the best part of it was the Police BMW bikes,must have been at least 20 of them,tearing around ,blues & twos going like mad.Each one stops at a given point and then waits for the next one to arrive before racing off again.
