Well it's about 750 miles since I fitted the oil cooler. I usually change the oil every 500 but since fitting the cooler I've noticed that... The smooth gear change and engine running sensation that you get after an oil change. (asda 10/40 semi synth usually) lasted much longer after fitting the cooler and.... As Bogger says the oil doesn't look the same as at the normal end of it's life..ie it still looks a bit like oil and not black coffee. I have a new clutch to go in some time when I get around to it. I also have vets bills and bike insurance soon so when I nipped down to asda for another gallon of their 10/40 I opted instead for a litre of 15/40 semi synth Castrol gtx @ £4.
