'Tobacco Alley'is roughly 40 miles from Calais. All the shops there HAVE to charge the same, no point shopping about. We always used this one, Tobacco Online, and we would often get gifts of chocolates, lighters etc, but were often spending around £800. The Belgian govt. even clamped down on giving gifts for a time.
It depends how many you are buying as to whether it's worth the petrol up there and back. Or even worth the extra cost to take the car.
You can go cheaply as a foot soldier and pick up an 800 pack on the ferry, still making a good saving on UK prices.
Mum's packed up now, so no more baccy runs for me!
