Cheap Watch Suitable for use on a bike

My local Home & Bargain Shop is now stocking wrist watches similar to those sold in One Pound Shops,which I have seen used on a few bikes,but for only 49p.As far as I can tell they should be water-proof as they appear to be sealed in a see-through plastic box before being fitted into the plastic band.You can't replace the battery,but at 49p for a new one who would want to.
