Aye. Kinetic Honda only ever made 2 stroke CVT scooters.
Hero Honda (Honda's other Indian venture, also since dissolved) was the one who made 'our' engines in India, but never in stepthrough frames, always in a H100 type frame.
Both companies existed because of the Indian government's refusal to get hooked on imports for many years, so Japanese companies set up these manufacturing partnerships with domestic ones. (Bajaj Kawasaki and Maruti Suzuki were two others)
The Indian government has relaxed import restrictions now, so no need for the partnerships and Honda can sell Hondas!
