I used them on my winter jaunts, they're great.
A 250? I stand to be corrected, but I don't think they exist, 275 being the smallest I've found.
I concur with andy, very, very good tyre, do wear out quick but thats the price you'll pay for grip, simples.
I would be very interested in a 250 x 17.
