Done a couple of hundred miles now with the homemade temperature sensor clipped to the oil cooler. On a long run with the throttle pinned it reads about 46C. This climbs to 52C while sitting at tickover after said run. Damp cloud and rain sees the temperature fall to 28C. One end of the oil cooler is always noticeably hotter to the touch than the other end. I does get too hot to touch. Riding along in slightly damp weather and I can feel the warmth on my leg and I don't think its incontinence. Regards. Bob.
