Firstly an apology for posting so much crap on the board. Hey Ho. I've started thinking about winter camping on a budget. This is a bit of a conundrum as the long dark nights lead to long pissed evenings in the pub. I've just bought a torso length piece of 2 inch memory foam for which I am to make a nylon envelope cover. I've used every type of camping stove under the sun over the years but am going to remake a beer can meths burner and windbreak (from an aluminium carton) . Anything else is too hot for my four inch one burger, one egg frying pan. Been looking for a good second hand sleeping bag on Ebay without success. Asda smartprice single duvets are very good and at six quid are a good basis for some sewing machine fun. Pound shop led headlights are excellent . The bezels pop off but a drop of Superglue sorts this. The one that I have has done three nights on all night hooked up in my tent (on the cheapest batterys) ready for emergency Jimmy riddles.regards. Bob.
