Thermometer-For engine oil?

I was in Aldi earlier today and came across this meat thermometer for £1.99.I thought it might be possible to drill a hole in my dipstick (no jokes please) and fit it into my engine.It reads up to120C.

I wonder if the vibration will kill it?
