hi james, bogger tried a 2.50 last time he bought a new one , he said it was fine. i use a 2.75 but as i use an alloy wheel on the back it was fitted with a 2.75 standard. in theory fitting a 2.75 gives more rubber on the road but when your fitting it to a narrower rim it must be altering the profile of the tyre somewhat?
