........next the frame

If you have a look at the earlier picture of the epic oil leak, you will spot that the frame is sagging, partly from rust in the spine, possibly helped by some youth training to be the next Evel Knievel. So here I demonstrate the factory approved de-sagging operation using a bottle jack.

Next it was time to address the rust, I quick clean up, or the underside of the spine revealed the usual problem.....a hole.

Some dodgy welding filled the hole, and then I strengthened it further by welding on some bits of thick plate.

A quick clean up inside and finally, I closed the end of the spine to prevent mud and water shooting up inside it. I’ve always thought it odd that my 6V C70 has a blanking plate in the spine as standard, but Cub90’s don’t.
